Wool Cable Hat

I created this pattern and knitted the hat in about 3 days. It's made from soft Merino wool and is machine washable.

Red and Black Striped Sweater

I have been working on this sweater between projects for quite a while. Recently I finally finished it and put it all together. I like the sweater, and I love the construction. Honestly, I think I will stop using this yarn which is 20% wool, 80% acrylic, because although most garments knit up well, once it's washed they tend to turn into jelly - stretching, not holding their shape. By the end of the day the bottom of the sweater is down to my knees.
There were minimal mistakes, and the fit is just right. Instead of seaming the sweater I sewed it together with my sewing machine which saves a lot of time, and I think gives it a flatter seam, and makes it look a little more professional.

Brioche Scarf

This is my first attempt at brioche. It's an interesting stitch, and it takes a ton of yarn, but I enjoyed it. This took 2 skeins of Wool-Ease yarn, and only made a 60" scarf. It was fun to make.

As I was making this scarf, I thought that it would be a good idea to use this stitch to make a rug. Something small, like a runner or a bathroom rug. You could make it with some really chunky yarn.

Montana here I come!

I drove from Portland to Montana yesterday. I made it in about 8 hours. The drive was awesome and Montana is beautiful. More later. ...
