Easy Clothing Labels

I created the labels in Word using a standard return address template, than I used the mirror option in my printer settings to reverse the print.

Finally I printed them out on an ink jet printer, then I ironed them onto muslin. I chose muslin because I wanted the labels to be relaxed and sort of handmade looking.

After I washed them, the iron-on material softened to be like the surrounding fabric.

I love them!

You can iron them on directly which would be nice for shirts and casual lounge clothes, but of course that wouldn't work with knits.
